Experience the power of one of these supercars driving for 8km's (3 laps) around Hampton Downs Raceway as one of our expert instructors provide guidance on the finer points of handling these beautiful machines. If this wasn’t already one of the best ways to spend a day, we wrap it up in style with a flying hot lap in the passenger seat of the awesome Mitsubishi EvoX. The ultimate end to a once in a life-time driving experience, every seat in this 4-door superstar is as good as the next, whether you’re in the front seat or the back we're sure you’ll be smiling from ear to ear when you get out. Q. How fast can I drive?
A. While this is a ‘Driving Experience’ and not a ‘Race Day’, you will have the opportunity to experience the performance capabilities of the Supercar, however we must of course maintain a safe environment for you and our instructor. Speeds vary from car to car and on conditions however around 160km/hr is common.

Q. Can friends and family come down and watch the drive?
A. Spectators are more than welcome to come and share in this great experience and take photos. As a special for friends and family on the day, Evo-X Hot Laps are available for purchase at only $69 per Adult and $39 per child which is a fantastic and affordable way for spectators to get involved.

Q. Can you get a video of the drive?
A. Yes definitely, we offer USB video sticks which are picture in picture. One camera faces you and the other camera faces the track in front of you . Check out the additional options as you progress through the checkout to add these.

Q. Are the cars Automatic or Manual?
A. The Aston Martin, Ferrari and Lamborghini can be driven in either automatic or paddle shift (There's no clutch pedal). The Lotus is a stick shift manual.

Q. Do you need a full driver’s licence to participate?
A. Yes you do, if you don't have a full drivers licence we do have passenger joy ride experiences available.

Q. Are there food and drink facilities at Hampton Downs?
A. There are basic snacks & drinks available for purchase, however we recommend bringing something with you if you want something substantial to eat on the day. There is a Cafe located near the road at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.

Q. What is required from me before I have my Drive?
A. No alcohol is to be consumed within eight hours of participating. Occupants must wear enclosed footwear. Please bring your license and your voucher for the experience.

Q. Are there height and weight restrictions?
A. As a general comfort guide a height of 6ft 6in or below and a weight of 130kg or below is recommended however call us if you are unsure as everyone is built differently and we have never had to turn anyone away!

Q. Do you run on weekends?
A. Weekends are not available due to race events being held at the track. We run on a Thursday in most cases and periodically on alternate weekdays.

Q. Am I insured when driving the cars?
A. All cars are insured. Each driving package includes the standard insurance which has an excess payable in the case of any damage caused by driver fault of $4,000. We offer an 'Insurance Plus' option for $59 which gives total peace of mind and reduces the excess to $0, this applies to all cars driven on the day. This option can be added when progressing through the online checkout, any questions feel free to give us a call on 0800 374 834

Q. How long are vouchers valid for?
A. Vouchers are valid for 12 months.

Got the drive a supercar and the lotus pakage and Loved every minute off it great fun honestly wished I had done the extra two laps in the lotus as it diffently was my favourite and just felt like a pure car thanks to the helpful staff always trying to make sure you have a great time. My only problem was there was no audio on my video in the lotus but that was not even close to be a deal breaker for me. Anyway thank you to all the staff for being super helpful and letting you fulfil my passion of cars.

The whole experience was great and very well organised. My only suggestion is to make it clear when purchasing a voucher that sessions only run once a month and not during winter. We didn’t realise this and almost left booking our session too late as we assumed we could book it anytime. Thanks.

Great experience and awesome team. Everyone that works there is an asset to your company. The girls in pit lane organizing everyone were full of positive energy and kept everyone happy with jokes and stories etc. The instructors were also exceptionally good and made the driving experience heaps of fun. Basically all of the staff were happy, engaged and enjoying themselves which indicates to me you have a great culture in your company. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and will highly recommend this experience to my friends and colleagues.

I'm no stranger to the Hampton Downs track, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Superbly well organised and the friendliest staff you could ever wish to meet. My instructor, JT, I've known for many years but in his role as an instructor, spot on. The advice as to when to change gear (paddle shift) in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage was appreciated. They set up excellent track markers as to when to brake, when to turn, apex cones etc. I purchased the optional USB which has a view ahead and also an inset small cockpit view. The hot lap in the Evo after our own laps showed just what a quick saloon car can do and for many would have been a real eye opener. Free coffee, tea and water was available. This was a 5 star experience and thanks to Eddie for setting up something so good. The perfect birthday treat for any petrol-head - or just an indulgent treat.

Great experience both in and out of the car! The pre-safety talk, drive around the circuit and hospitality (free coffeee & stuff!) all taken together made it a memorable afternoon. The track driving was massive fun with experienced drivers helping all the way along. The team in the pit were all so good and helpful too.
