Experience the power of one of these supercars driving for 8km's (3 laps) around Hampton Downs Raceway as one of our expert instructors provide guidance on the finer points of handling these beautiful machines. If this wasn’t already one of the best ways to spend a day, we wrap it up in style with a flying hot lap in the passenger seat of the awesome Mitsubishi EvoX. The ultimate end to a once in a life-time driving experience, every seat in this 4-door superstar is as good as the next, whether you’re in the front seat or the back we're sure you’ll be smiling from ear to ear when you get out. Q. How fast can I drive?
A. While this is a ‘Driving Experience’ and not a ‘Race Day’, you will have the opportunity to experience the performance capabilities of the Supercar, however we must of course maintain a safe environment for you and our instructor. Speeds vary from car to car and on conditions however around 160km/hr is common.

Q. Can friends and family come down and watch the drive?
A. Spectators are more than welcome to come and share in this great experience and take photos. As a special for friends and family on the day, Evo-X Hot Laps are available for purchase at only $59 per Adult and $35 per child which is a fantastic and affordable way for spectators to get involved.

Q. Can you get a video of the drive?
A. Yes definitely, we offer USB video sticks which are picture in picture. One camera faces you and the other camera faces the track in front of you . Check out the additional options as you progress through the checkout to add these.

Q. Are the cars Automatic or Manual?
A. The Aston Martin, Ferrari and Lamborghini can be driven in either automatic or paddle shift (There's no clutch pedal). The Lotus is a stick shift manual.

Q. Do you need a full driver’s licence to participate?
A. Yes you do, if you don't have a full drivers licence we do have passenger joy ride experiences available.

Q. Are there food and drink facilities at Hampton Downs?
A. There are basic snacks & drinks available for purchase, however we recommend bringing something with you if you want something substantial to eat on the day. There is a Cafe located near the road at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.

Q. What is required from me before I have my Drive?
A. No alcohol is to be consumed within eight hours of participating. Occupants must wear enclosed footwear. Please bring your license and your voucher for the experience.

Q. Are there height and weight restrictions?
A. As a general comfort guide a height of 6ft 6in or below and a weight of 130kg or below is recommended however call us if you are unsure as everyone is built differently and we have never had to turn anyone away!

Q. Do you run on weekends?
A. Weekends are not available due to race events being held at the track. We run on a Thursday in most cases and periodically on alternate weekdays.

Q. Am I insured when driving the cars?
A. All cars are insured. Each driving package includes the standard insurance which has an excess payable in the case of any damage caused by driver fault of $4,000. We offer an 'Insurance Plus' option for $59 which gives total peace of mind and reduces the excess to $0, this applies to all cars driven on the day. This option can be added when progressing through the online checkout, any questions feel free to give us a call on 0800 374 834

Q. How long are vouchers valid for?
A. Vouchers are valid for 12 months.
What an experience. It was a surprise Birthday gift I was nervous, Excited and also out of my comfort zone when I found out that I was going to drive an Aston Martin around a race track . I loved every minute . Thanks to the amazing team for making me feel at ease . Thanks so much for a memorable experience .

I had the most fantastic morning! Aside from my own excitement, the team at Drive Supercars were just amazing, welcoming and patient. I was on a high for the rest of the day. The team were very accommodating and really easy to talk to.Definately something i would do again. If there is any advice I'd offer to someone doing this for their first time, it would be....Trust the instructors and you will have so much more fun, honestly. I thought they were crazy telling me to go faster, but when I finally relaxed into it, i realised how much more fun i had.

Great morning out. Excellent instructions and orientation lap add to the experience. Nice to feel the power in the car and the hot lap gives an added experience. All the staff and drivers are friendly and engaging. Thoroughly recommended.

Awesome experience. Instructors were top notch and provided awesome insight into learning the layout of the track and how to push the cars safely. Shout out to Dave especially, great teacher. The Evo hot lap was also unreal, throwing that car around the lap was humbling. Huge thanks, Liam

What an amazing experience. The staff's relaxed but welcoming and professional nature brought the experience together to form one cohesive great time! The professional drivers gave excellent on-track feedback and adapted to the situation to provide maximum enjoyment for the customer.

This was an experience of a lifetime and a definite bucket list item ticked off. The staff were friendly and welcoming and done everything they could to accommodate me and make sure the experience was one I wouldn’t ever forget. The cars were amazing and the instructors were excellent, ensuring I got the best out of both the car and myself. Would highly recommend this to anyone thinking about going.

Had a blast!!! The Ferrari was unavailable so I got upgraded to the Lamborghini revuelto, was sooo much fun! And the hot lap was exhilarating woohoo
