Just when you think the thrill can’t get any higher, buckle up for a blistering hot lap in the mighty Mitsubishi EvoX. This high-performance beast storms the track, delivering electrifying thrills from any seat—front or back, you’ll step out beaming. The ultimate finale to an unforgettable supercar adventure!
Q. Are there height and weight restrictions?
A. Yes, there is a minimum height of 130cm which is generally around 10 years old but does vary from child to child. We consider all our customers precious but none more so that young children so when it comes to kids joy rides and hot laps we must be strict on the minimum height to ensure helmets and seat belts fit correctly.

Q. How fast do I go?
A. The Joy Ride in the Aston Martin will have speeds around 130km's hour depending on conditions. The Evo-X Hot Lap is a full pace race lap with speeds around 160 - 170km/hr depending on conditions.
Q. Can friends and family come down and watch the drive?
A. Spectators are more than welcome to come and share in this great experience and take photos. As a special for friends and family on the day, Evo-X Hot Laps are available for purchase at only $59 per Adult and $35 per child which is a fantastic and affordable way for spectators to get involved.

Q. Can you get a video of the drive?
A. Yes definitely, we offer USB video sticks which are picture in picture. One camera faces you and the other camera faces the track in front of you . Check out the additional options as you progress through the checkout to add these.
Q. Do you need a driver’s license to participate?
A. As this is a passenger experience no drivers licence is required.

Q. Are there food and drink facilities at Hampton Downs?
A. There are basic snacks & drinks available for purchase, however we recommend bringing something with you if you want something substantial to eat on the day. There is a Cafe located near the road at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.

Q. What is the dress code?
A. Please wear normal street clothes and enclosed footwear.

Q. What is the Total ride time?
A. Approximately 8 km's (3 laps) in the Aston Martin and 2.6km (1 lap) in the EvoX Hot Lap

Q. Do you run on weekends?
A. Weekends are not available due to race events being held at the track. We run on a Thursday in most cases and periodically on alternate weekdays.

Q. How long are vouchers valid for?
A. Vouchers are valid for 12 months.
Great day, I a little confused as I booked 2pm but timing was up to the girls. With the wind and temperature it was good that the track garages were opened to allow customers to to hide from the wind especially the wives. Got home but couldn’t play onboard video which was extremely disappointing even after checking withe the girls that the videos were there, not sure if I need a special App? But an excellent day

A really good experience. The energy from the staff made it lots of fun. The morning didn’t feel at all rushed. I was buzzing after the supercar drive and then the EVO hot lap was the icing on the cake. My 85 year old father had a real spring in his step after the hot lap. A great birthday present.

Experience was incredible. Staff are amazing and run the event with great precision. Was really grateful for the way that my family were received and taken care of. Would recommend the day to anyone who is considering it .

The staff at Drive Supercars provided a professional and informative experience even before we rolled around the track. The staff were courteous, friendly and able to present a calm and understanding approach to one's numerous questions and were prepared to be flexible when it came to accommodating the slightly late family spectators. The video was an informative tool prior to tackling the tight track layout and the car instructor engendered positivity and useful tips for cornering. What a thrill to be on the track, an experience not to be missed. And the hot lap was something else, especially as we returned through that tight U bend back to the pit lane. Thank you all at Hampton Downs and especially to Eddy for his oversight and communication prior to my big day.

From start to finish, the team at Drive Supercars was absolutely fantastic! Their enthusiasm and genuine excitement made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. You could tell they truly love what they do, and that energy is contagious. As someone who hadn't driven in years, I was a little nervous at first. In fact, instead of shifting up a gear, I accidentally turned on the windshield wipers—but hey, no judgment here! The atmosphere was super relaxed, and my instructor was incredibly patient and helpful. He provided great tips and encouragement, making me feel both confident and exhilarated behind the wheel. He guided me every step of the way, making sure I got the absolute most out of the experience! The concept of not just driving a supercar, but actually getting to drive it on a real race track, is absolutely thrilling! A huge thank you to Eddie and the entire team for an unforgettable day—I'll definitely be back for more!

What an awesome experience to drive a car that you would not normally get a chance to and to make it even better, it is around a race track under the expert guidance of a great instructor! From arriving to leaving you are looked after by a very friendly and helpful team who can support you with whatever you need. If I had to make a comment on how to improve, for me the 3 laps were great but I need to spend more to get a longer experience. I am thinking 5 or 6 laps is better as you are just starting to get in the groove and you need to stop or spend more, I would rather spend a little more up front than have to spend more on the day. I get it how it all works and understand the economics behind your decision but hey, for me this is what I am thinking. Overall, you guys ROCK!

Was a great afternoon with the drive supercars crew, everyone was very welcoming and great to deal with. Loved the drive and the hot lap, the instructor was great, good clear instructions and great chat. Overall a great experience and I definitely want to come back and do it again!
